Dr Anna Dengate BMedSC BVSc FANZCVS small animal medicine
Anna is a small animal specialist who has a keen interest in Heamatology, Immunology, Gastroenterology and Urology. She graduated from Sydney University in 2008 and took up medical residency at North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre.
In 2012 she sat her fellowship exams in small animal medicine and became a qualified specialist in 2016.
Anna has presented at several conferences both here in Australia and internationally. She is also the author of several published papers that include canine coagulation disorders and stent placement in the canine cardiac patient.
Anna has a true passion for teaching and regularly holds in-clinic tutorials to help general practitioners improve their skills in the field of diagnostic imaging.
Since having worked in both the specialist field and general practice, Anna has recognised the need for an integrated approach to patient management between the specialist and primary care vet.
Anna grew up on the Northern beaches where she still resides with her family including her two fur babies Penny and Ginny
