Dr Angela Phillips

Dr Angela Phillips is Emergency Medicine and joint proprietor at Sydney Animal Hospitals Inner West. She graduated from the University of Melbourne 1990 with BVSc MVS MACVSc as a Veterinary Surgeon.

Angela practised for a short time in small animal practice before returning to university to complete a residency in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. During this period she completed her Masters of Veterinary Studies. Angela also holds certification for AQIS, (Australian Quarantine).

Her main interests are in emergency medicine, internal medicine and critical care. She shares her life with her two dogs Merv and Marilyn and her middle-aged cat, Seymour.

Dr Anne Fawcett BA (Hons), BSc (Vet)(Hons), BVSc (Hons), MVetStud, GradCertEdStud(Higher Ed) MANZVCS (Animal Welfare) DipCAWBM (AWSEL) is a Veterinary Surgeon at Sydney Animal Hospitals Inner West. Anne is interested in all aspects of small animal health, particularly animal welfare. She loves treating dogs and cats as well as the more unusual pets – from backyard chickens to reptiles to guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and mice.

In addition, she lectures at the University of Sydney and regularly contributes to News Local, the Veterinarian magazine, and Critters USA magazine.

Anne was the veterinary consultant on ABCTV's Creature Features, Australia's highest rating children's television program. In her spare time she volunteers with Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities (AMRRIC), takes fantastic photographs of animals. Anne currently shares her home with two guinea pigs, two cats (one of whom is three legged), two budgies and a dog.
